1967 Datsun SSS wagon i found on craigslist here in south west missouri!

Ok! first time in a few weeks ive posted anything, ive been trying to get a new job and ive been mad busy. Just wanting to know if this car would be worth buying and trying to restore, kinda seems a little bit iffy seeing as how its sat for about 30 years.

ill post the actual CL post just incase you dont like clicking things

"I have a 1967 Datsun Super Sport Station wagon car for restoration.. My dad bought it in the early 70s and it has been in our family ever since. The car has been sitting parked in the woods for years where my dad parked it. It WAS RUNNING when it was parked in the late 70s or early 80s I HAVE NOT TRIED IT. It is covered in tree sap from sitting.. It has a 4 cyl motor with dual carbs and a 4 speed transmission, 411 positrack rear end. It has the running gears of the early Datsun sports cars.. It has SSS in the grille (for Super Sports Station wagon) I DO HAVE THE TITLE AND KEYS... YOU CAN still get parts for these cars but There are MANY PARTS THAT ARE GOOD and some that would be hard for someone find if they wanted to find ORGINAL parts and this one definitely is all original. It is covered in tree sap from sitting and will look much better just cleaning that off.. The interior has a good dash . It needs tires BUT HAS THE ORIGINAL RIMS. The grill is still in tact with the SSS in it ...... .It is a complete car that can be restored. .. THIS IS A GREAT START PROJECT FOR ANYONE WANTING TO GET ONE UNDERWAY.. IT CAN STILL BE DONE. OR PART OUT FOR ANOTHER CAR project.. OR TO SELL ON EBAY!!!.. IT DOES HAVE MANY MANY GOOD PARTS FOR RESTORATION OR TO SELL.. THESE ARE NEAT CARS .. . The price is $975.00 OBO....FOR ANY SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY...... PLEASE CALL.. NOT INTERESTED IN ANY TRADES. I DO HAVE A BOTTOM $$$$ REMEMBER CASH TALKS. 573-259-5041 OR 573-885-0619 IF NO ANSWER PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE AND I WILL RETURN YOUR CALL... "

Question regaurding lots of stuff i would guess

Ok i see this page is getting allot of views, 19 in the past 6 hours and i have my own views turned off :D but anyways..that is not my point of this post haha. ummmmm soo i want a Z specificly a S30 "240" z car...would settle for the 260 but im kinda noticing those are a little more tricky to find. but yes..her's my question(s)
1- Anyone know of where i can get a S30, i dont care whats wrong with it, as long as it can roll, "preferably has an engine with all parts, i can make it run again" and hopefully dosnt have crippling body rust or damage.
2- Im having a hard time finding a site/forum/backyard with any substantial library of parts, i just need a place to find Z parts (frome engine to transmission to body to interior).
3- see 1 and 2
4- im kinda ballin on a budget..im not rich haha, so please if you have good info, no offence but it does me no good if the car is more then $2000-$3000 :)
5- Anyone who has a good heads up on old school Japanese racing rims that would be friggin saweeeet!!!

thanks for your time and sorry about the bother : Evvan/ZoOm

Ok kinda whent crazy with the videos...AND my first SERIOUS blog about other peoples cars haha

Guess im just trying to find something to fill the space up with for now, anyone have any ideas? lookin for some cars to talk about on here, until i get mine up on this, i dont see what it could hurt toi talk about people doin the same thing, workin hard and kickin ass at building cars!

http://yuta-akaishi.blogspot.com/

This guy right here, Mr. Yuta Akaishi is doin the damn thing with his 73' S30 "datsun 240z". With his crew members from the HeartBreakers, they all deserve mad props for what they do with there daily drivers out in the San Jose area of California. to me what they do is sick as hell! these guys build there cars and when i say "they build" i mean that this group of kick-ass friends spend there time hangin out and building cars the way it should be done "my opinion", on there own and with there own touch of style. ive seen forums hating on Mr. Akashi's S30, but lets be real for a second, if you read his blog and follow everything hes done to and with this car its ill as fuck! people complain about it "not being safe" or "not functional" and so on and so forth, i mean yeah they got there own right to what they think, but what hes doing is OG all in itself and i give this man much appreciation for building something that to me is a dream car worth wanting. it may not be "show car" quality, but who cares?!? Its style and primer'd paint and slammed to the ground look is beyond anything ive ever seen and felt from a show car...this is truly a work of art in not only his eyes...but allot of others including mine. dont believe me? go hit up Super Streets latest issue http://www.superstreetonline.com/featuredvehicles/sstp_1011_1973_datsun_240z/index.html with his feature in it, and if you can check out the Aug 2010 issue "i think i cant remember" that feature the HeartBreakers crew and see how there doin there own thing in this oh so bland car industry!

Enjoy the pics! ;D

Sooo it begins...i think

Soooo it begins...i think. Dont exactly know how this blog stuff works but ima just rush into it head-long, dosnt always work out the for the best but i wanna use this as my first step to creating an actual website for Old school Japanese car enthusiasts. And also hopefully be able to post future builds for people to follow along and see how i do things. This "hopefully" will be a good start to a great thing...hopefully. As of right now i just sold my 79 Corolla Deluxe. it was my first car and my baby...my brother sent me a picture the other day of it sitting on the side of the Highway down near Branson Missouri, i told that dumbass that it wasnt a hot rod, it was a 31 year old car and it needed to be babied unless he was planning on doing some heavy modz to it. Ill see if i can upload pics later of my first little beater, wasnt much on the eyes but if you know much about this car scene and these kidns of cars then you would know too that it was a steal for only $150 and all it needed was some lovin's :) Until next time, try and stay tuned this might go a lil slow but being in South West Missouri there arnt very many Old School JP cars for me to grab at here.
